Internet Explorer 9 - Beta Release At September 2010

Internet Explorer 9 - According to Microsoft schedule, Internet Explorer or as known as IE has come into version 9 and it will be released in beta version at September 2010. This is probably one of the most anticipated release by many people.

This news was heard before the event entitled Microsoft Financial Analyst Meeting a while ago. Kevin Turner as Microsoft Chief Operating Officer confirmed that the first beta of Internet Explorer 9 Web browser is scheduled for release in 02 September 2010.

This is a little later than expected, because leaked files that emerged last month pointed to the August release date for the beta.

So far, some IE9 screen shots were leaked and has been circulating through the internet. As quoted from RedmondPie, a site named cnBeta even managed to get them.

As you see, IE9 is seem pretty similar to Google Chrome or Opera with opening tabs they have. IE9 also 'armed' by a new download manager.

When you look at the shots, you might be surprise as it's only show a bit change from the current version ( IE 8 ). Microsoft has show off IE 9 engine in 3 platform previews. But these are might be only a small bare bones edge before revealing the whole real one.

Internet Explorer 9 Platform Preview 3 showed that IE9 not only good to utilize the power of core processor (CPU), but also leverage the graphics processor (GPU). It also will fully support for CSS3 Fonts module and added WOFF support.

Some New Improvements In Internet Explorer 9 :

• Improved JScript engine, internally called the Chakra.
• DOM improvements
• CSS enhancements
• HTML5 (also support video and audio tags)

So far, no release date has been announced yet, but most believe that the final version will not come at this year, more likely in early 2011.

This new browser has become long awaited and very much anticipated by most people especially by web developers and web designers with more improved in compatibility and functionality. But with Firefox and Chrome frequently update, browser wars will become more fierce to dominate the market.
