    Google+ Open For Public, Facebook & Twitter Join Forces

    After about 3 months since the first limited launch, now Google+ is already opened to the public.

    Previously, this Google's social network service can only be enjoyed by certain people who receive invitations.

    Although Google+ users only to the extent who receive invitations, but it already has 10 million registered people before opened to the public .

    This is because people are curious and want to be the first lucky person who trying and test the new Google social network. Also it allows the registered users to send many invitations to their friends to join Google+.

    Beta Version

    Although it has been opened to the public, but the status of Google + project is still in Beta version. Before opened to the public and change the status to the Beta version, Google+ which can only be enjoyed by those who accept the invitation, was the trial or alpha version.

    Google's Senior Vice President of Engineering, Vic Gundotra wrote on Google's official blog that,

    "We’re nowhere near done, but with the improvements we’ve made so far we’re ready to move from field trial to beta, and introduce our 100th feature: open signups. This way anyone can visit google.com/+, join the project and connect with the people they care about."

    Ready To Compete With Facebook

    Google is still intend to enter the arena of social media and expect to compete with it's main rival,  Facebook. But this has yet to be achieved until now.

    With the development of Google+, Google seems to believe that they are able to deal "one on one" with Facebook. They are offering a variety of features that are said to be unprecedented and offer new experiences for users of social networking.

    Facebook currently has a great power as the king of social networks with more than 800 million users worldwide. Google+ currently has more than 50 million users and it may seem so small.

    But when viewed from their growth, the growth of Google+ is fast enough to successfully reach 50 million users in just 3-4 months. Meanwhile, Facebook reached the first 50 million users after 3.5 years.

    Facebook and Twitter Will Join Forces

    Facebook, which is already sit on the hot seat in the arena of the top social networks seem to feel threatened by the Google +. Although compared to Facebook, the amount of Google+ users still much less, but the rapid growth in the number of users in the Google+ make it stifling.

    Facebook tried to keep appealing to its users by making several design changes in recent years and addition of several new features. Also it rumored that Facebook users will be able to directly tweeting simply by connecting your Facebook account with your Twitter account.

    Conclusion

    Google is known for years that they always consistent with minimalist designs and faster page load. Google+ also offers a number of interesting features that has never existed on the internet such as Hang Out and Sparks.

    Facebook already made some design changes lately in few months since Google+ still in Alpha version. With some additional features and collaboration with Twitter, it's estimated that the rivalry between Facebook - Twitter Vs Google+ will reach the peak in 2012.

    If you have not tried Google+ yet or have a Google account, it never hurts to try and explore there. It is up to you either you prefer Facebook or Google+. Each has it's own advantages.
