Although Internet Explorer is still the most popular Web browser in the world until now, Firefox is the people's first choice when they don't want to use Microsoft's IE. Firefox internet browser is faster and more stable than IE. No wonder it's now became the runner up.

As you know, Windows is always the default operating system installed in almost every PC, Laptop and Netbook and it always integrated with IE as the internet browser. But you can see how impressive Firefox had managed to get it's market share so far.

When it come up to 4th beta version and release 8, there are many interesting new features and design.

Firefox 4 beta 8 has been available to download since December 22, 2010 for PC's and Laptops. Some features which added for this release are 3D graphics support, Revamped Add-on Manager, and Easier Sync Function. This beta release is also available for Android Smartphone. Just search for term "Mozilla Firefox" in Android Market Application.

The Product Manager, Mike Beltzner explained that the new 3D browser was made based on WebGL enhancements, an open standard for accelerated 3D web graphics rendering. If you want to use this technology, usually you have to install the appropriate special plug-in / add-on.  But with the beta release 8, there is no need for any 3D plugin installed.

“Firefox 4 beta now supports WebGL for most modern built-in graphics cards, making it easier for developers to create interactive 3D games, vivid graphics, and new visual experiences for the web without the use of third-party plug-ins,” Beltzner wrote in Mozilla's blog.

Firefox Engineer, Vlad Vukicevic also said that all 3D web visual graphics things such as 3D games, interactive products display and virtual places (area), now have been possible by using any modern WebGL supported browser like Firefox 4. In previous, users can't get any experience with any 3D stuff without special plug-in installed in their browser.

WebGL is created based on Open GL ES 2.0 which is the same 3D engine system for Android and IOS. By using WebGL, Firefox 4 beta now supports an "all in one" web technologies to encourage developer to create rich and exciting web applications.

Vukicevic also said that WebGL has compatibility function to mobile devices too. Beside WebGL, what else FF 4 offers with it's latest release?

Firefox Auto Sync function make it easier for users to synchronize their browsing history, bookmarks, open tabs and all stored passwords to any PCs, Laptops, Smartphones and other supported devices. You should have no worry about any sync button you have to click, because there is none. Synchronization will be automatically generated for you.
