"The House" of Facebook Will Be Moved To Menlo Park, San Meteo

Facebook will be move it's headquarters to Menlo Park, San Meteo, which formerly was the headquarters of Sun Microsystems. "The main house" of Facebook is currently located at Palo Alto, California.

This news was reported from Mashable and some other media in the U.S. who receive an invitation from Facebook to attend it's press conference event. The event which will be held on Tuesday, February 08, 2011, will discuss about the move of Facebook headquarters at 1701 Laurel Street, Menlo Park, San Meteo.

However, it didn't had any detail about the move of the "main house" of that largest social media site in the world to San Meteo. But, as mentioned by Mashable, it got confirmation from a Facebook fellow that said Facebook will move it's operational headquarters to the property used by of Sun Microsystems before it acquired by Oracle.

Headquarters of Facebook is located at Palo Alto since 2004. Facebook is experiencing rapid employment growth, which now become more than 2000 people. The current headquarters is no longer be able to accommodate the number of employees that still continues to grow.

USD $500 million has been set up to buy something as large as Sun Microsystems property area. This new place will provide enough space for Facebook employees who continue to grow up in the long term.
